Lego Cities : Cities from above is a recent addition to the inka 2-dimensional illustrations. The idea of this artwork is a study of how cities develop while keeping the focus on our roots (the old fabric being the central point). The sketched plan illustrates the village of Kirkop, which has been inhabited since pre-history. Despite this, it also brings cities in stop motion. This artwork was created during the pandemic lockdown and as a result of the situation in which we were living, this left our roads nearly empty. These empty roads allow us to reflect and find beauty in stillness, in uncertainty.
